About Me

I have been a huge fan of all things crafty and DIY from the moment my grandmother taught me how to knit at the age of eight.  I was completely addicted to the idea that you could make something yourself.  If a project sounds interesting, looks pretty, or tastes yummy, I am willing to try it!  While I am pretty much a novice in a lot of areas, I love to sew, bead, paper craft, knit, cook, and bake.

This obsession is what led to me meeting my handsome husband.  He was co-owner of a local bead store, and I was a customer.  We met, fell in love, and now I am mom and stepmom to four lovely girls.

We've got it all in our family from diapers to braces.  And it seems that the each of the girls has inherited the crafting gene.  I started this blog to document our family's adventures, experiences, and crafty musings.
